little sprouts speech therapy
At Little Sprouts Speech Therapy, we hold close the tenets of the Early Intervention model, a therapeutic model designed to serve children and their families by providing quality therapy with primary caregivers seen as an integral part of the therapy process. This means that parents are provided coaching on how to embed evidence-based strategies and techniques that promote their toddler's communication skills during every day routines, simple activities, simple interactions, and play.
Little Sprouts Speech Therapy focuses on supporting "late talkers" through:
Play-based therapy - play is the foundation of learning during early childhood, so we use play as a way to connect, engage, and target communication
Collaboration with caregivers - it is important to me that you feel empowered and secure in your ability to use your new strategies throughout your day with your child
Evidence-based strategies - proven to promote your toddler's speech, language, and/or communication skills
Designing a plan with the family values in mind - we will work together to determine that the services provided to you reflect your family values and make sense to you, your child, and your family
